RAKESH AGARWAL

Rakesh Agarwal brings over 35 years of experience in launching and establishing new industries in India. A Boston University graduate, he comes with a strong family business background and he is reputed as a pioneer of innovative ventures.

He brought organized car rental to India by signing a collaboration agreement with Hertz Rent a Car at a young age of 21 on behalf of his family. He launched the world’s first telephone search engine company called Ask Me in 1989. This concept is now known as Just Dial although he is not a part of it. He launched India’s first self-help sales training program called Winning in Sales Every Time in 1994. He was one of the top 5 finalists for India Young Business Achievers Award in 1996.

He operated as the Managing Director of Frankfinn Institute of Airhostess Training from 2000 to 2009 and then started his venture in Image Consulting and Soft Skills Training. He is currently the Managing Director of Image Consulting Business Institute, one of the leading brands in the world in the Image Consulting and Soft Skills Training space.

He has been an advocate of strengthening self-image and raising self-esteem for over 35 years and has guided thousands of people to overcome these issues. He has been instrumental in over 3500 people getting a qualification in Image Consulting and launching their own practice to help their clients overcome poor self-image and low self-esteem by training, mentoring and consulting them to manage their appearance, behaviour and communication.

His mission in life is to reach millions of people directory and through a brigade of Image Consultants produced by the Image Consulting Business Institute and help them fulfill all their dreams by overcoming poor self-image and low self-esteem.

He is also the Director of Image Management Professionals’ Association, the only association in this industry in the Indian Sub-Continent and the Middle East. He is a known motivator and trainer. He is also the co-author of the book “First Impressions, Lasting Impressions“, published by Times Group Books. He has mentored thousands of people to start their own business.

SUMAN AGARWAL

Suman Agarwal, is an Image evangelist, author, TEDx speaker and the President of Image Management Professionals Association.

Under her guidance, IMPA has been shaping up into a pro-active organization, progressing steadily and reaching out image management to various segments of the society, including the underprivileged segments. Over the recent years, IMPA has been contributing significantly to the society, through CSR activities.

She is the co-founder of Image Consulting Business Institute, holding a Masters award in Image Management Consulting from the Federation of Image Professionals International -United Kingdom and the senior-most Image Consultant in the Indian Sub-continent. With her passion and strong ethics of service, image and quality, Suman Agarwal has contributed significantly to the successful growth of image consulting industry in India. With over 3000 alumni consultants and over 5 lacs lives touched through image consulting services over the decade and she is on an unstoppable mission.

Her experience includes senior and national level roles during her previous professional assignment providing tremendous value by establishing quality guidelines to service roles for the first time, ensuring quality adherence through training, monitoring and strong implementation measures.

Prior to that, Suman was associated with Jet Airways for eight years. Her contribution in creating a strong service and image ethics was recognized by Jet Airways, she was the Face of the Airline in 2003.
